Our robotics team qualifies for the national finals

After a season of late afternoons in the lab, our robotics team has earned a place in the national finals. They will compete in December against schools from across the country.

Built from scratch, twice

The first robot did not survive the regional round: a wheel gave way halfway through the obstacle course. The team took the failure apart piece by piece, redesigned the chassis and rebuilt the whole thing in under three weeks.

That willingness to break something, understand why, and start again is exactly what we mean when we talk about learning at TCFL.
